Harbor Creek's DiSanti breaks record, wins diving title

Harbor Creek senior Brittany DiSanti broke the District 10 Class AA diving record Saturday on the way to winning her third straight D-10 title at Penn State Behrend.

DiSanti finished with a total of 464.60 on 11 dives, thanks to a meet-high total of 49.95 on her final dive -- a back one somersault, with two-and-a-half twists.

Jessica Normandy of Iroquois set the record of 459.80 in 1997.

Harbor Creek’s Kelly Schultz (367.55) and Fairview’s Jocelyn Lion (343.55) qualified for next month's PIAA meet, along with DiSanti.
