The second round of the District 10 boys basketball playoffs are set with three local teams leaving the Erie area on Tuesday while two will play at Edinboro's McComb Fieldhouse.
In Class A, there will be a doubleheader at Sharon High School on Tuesday starting with Region 1 champion Kennedy Catholic (20-2) taking on Rocky Grove (12-11) at 6:30 p.m.
The second game will feature VisionQuest (14-8) against Region 3 co-champion Villa Maria (19-4) at 8 p.m.
The Mercyhurst Prep boys (21-2), fresh off their 53-47 comeback win over Lakeview, will play Wilmington (15-8) at Meadville High School on Tuesday at 8 p.m. The other Class AA semifinal will take place at Edinboro's McComb Fieldhouse between Fairview (19-4) and Region 2 champion Reynolds (22-1) at 6:30 p.m.
The 8 p.m. game at Edinboro on Tuesday will be between Hickory (20-3) and Region 6 champion General McLane (15-8). East (17-6) will take on Farrell (19-4) in the first game of the doubleheader at Meadville High School at 6:30 p.m.
The Class AAAA championship is back at Gannon's Hammermill Center on Friday after the site was taken off the website temporarily. The game is now confirmed as a single game between Cathedral Prep (14-9) and McDowell (18-5) at 7 p.m.
