Central Mountain eliminated the Cathedral Prep wrestling team from the PIAA Class AAA tournament Friday night. The District 6 power handed the Ramblers their second loss of the day by a 42-16 final at the Giant Center in Hershey.

Prep's losses were its first of the season. The District 10 winners stayed alive in the consolation bracket with a 36-21 victory over Connellsville.

Earlier, the Ramblers (17-2) were eliminated from the championship bracket when Cumberland Valley beat them 44-18.

In Class AA, District 10 champ Reynolds comprises a fourth of this morning's championship semifinalists. The 20-0 Raiders will face District 6 top seed Westmont Hilltop, with Shady Side Academy and Schuylkill Valley in the other half.

The winners will meet for the PIAA title at 1 p.m.
