The Reynolds wrestling team won its third PIAA Class AA team title in four years with Saturday's 42-18 victory over Shady Side Academy at Hershey. It's a feat never achieved in either classification since the tournament began in 1999.
However, the Raiders have plenty of matches ahead if they wish to join the ranks of Class AAA Easton. The Rovers hold the record with four state titles, however they won them in a row (2001-2004).
Reynolds' previous PIAA crowns were in 2006 and 2007. The Raiders also reached the AA final in 2005.
Central Dauphin is halfway to Easton's achievement. The District 3 power repeated in AAA with a 34-30 victory over Cumberland Valley.
