Saegertown starter out with injured ribs

If the Saegertown boys basketball team makes a push for the District 10 playoffs, it will do so without Kyle Beatty. The 6-foot, 2-inch senior swingman injured his ribs during Friday's game vs. Maplewood and missed the Panthers' 54-43 victory over Linesville on Tuesday.

Saegertown coach Greg Molnar said that Beatty, who's averaged 12 points per game, is out indefinitely and will likely miss Friday's Region 3 home game vs. Titusville.

Keenan Ellison picked up some of Beatty's scoring slack with a game-high 25 points against the Linesville. The win left Saegertown 11-8 overall and 9-5 in region action.
