Seneta not going anywhere

After much speculation on Girard girls basketball coach Larry Seneta's future, Seneta confirmed Wednesday that his 23rd season at Girard was not his last.
"Other people golf when they retire, this is what I do," Seneta said. "I will be around a while and if not I'll be pushing up daises."

Girard had an impressive season at 22-5 with only 1 loss coming to a Class AA team besides Villa Maria.

Girard loses prolific scorer Raegan Moore to graduation, but her younger sister Chandler was the YellowJackets' second leading-scorer this year as a sophomore and will be back for two more years.
