DCCC vs NRCC

For the past few months I've been talking about the DCCC's attacks on Congressman Phil English. And to be fair I thought I'd bring up the latest smear by the NRCC too. Even though Dahlkemper and English say they want to keep the race civil--the national parties aren't holding back. There's a lot at stake as the Democrats try and tackle every Republican seat they think they can steal.

So here it is...

Dahlkemper Supporter Raising Eyebrows for Ethical Violations
Watchdog Groups and Fellow Congressman Calling for Ethics Investigation on NY Rep. Rangel

Washington- With the release of Kathy Dahlkemper's FEC filing this week, we now know that the Democrat candidate for Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District is just another typical politician, playing tired old Washington games by taking campaign contributions from New York's ethically-embattled Congressman Charlie Rangel.

Rangel is at the center of a major political scandal for unethical behavior and abuse of power. And now, it turns out he is contributing to Dahlkemper's campaign, and she's more than happy to take his money, no matter how poorly it reflects on her campaign.

Kathy Dahlkemper is not a voice for change, she is status-quo politician willing to get elected to Congress any way she can, said NRCC Spokeswoman Julie Shutley. If Dahlkemper wants to separate herself from a corrupt politician and an unpopular Democrat Majority in Congress, she will return the campaign checks she took from Rep. Charlie Rangel.

Paid for by National Republican Congressional Committee.
