Dahlkemper Makes The Cut

Kathy Dahlkemper has another notch on her belt. With less than 100 days for Congressman Phil English to defend his third district seat, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Dahlkemper as one of the candidates who earned a spot in the "Red to Blue" program.

The program highlights top Democratic campaigns across the country and offers them financial, communications, and strategic support. In 2006, the Red to Blue program raised nearly $22.6 million for 56 campaigns with an average of $404,000 per campaign.

The announcement comes just after Dahlkemper released an independent poll she paid for--it says she enjoys a 1 point lead over English.

You can expect to see both Dahlkemper and English campaigning hard over the next few weeks. I'd love to hear who you're going to vote for and why. E-mail me at washingtonwatch@wsee.tv
