Three Mercer County residents who have ties to Kathy Dahlkemper's campaign filed a challenge against independent candidate Steven Porter's signatures on his nominating petitions.

The Dahlkemper campaign says they were not behind the move but did "lend a hand on a few issues." The English campaign blasted Dahlkemper saying she's using "one of the oldest political tricks in the book." Having Porter in the race could jeopardize Dahlkemper's chances of beating seven term incumbent English.
